Under the supervision of the Training and Development Department, last Sunday, 11th Sept.2022 a four-week advanced technical course in the field of production and operation operations entitled Advanced Process Operation was launched for 5 trainees from the Operations Department and one trainee from the Training and Development Department for a period of four weeks, theoretical and practical, through the DCS system control room. It shows virtually all the technical problems that the operator may expose while following the readings and malfunctions that occur from inside this room by using this system.
This course also aims to identify about the DCS (Distributed Control System), which is a Distributed Control System by which the trainee can identify the method of operating and extinguishing for the laboratory using this system. The operator will be able to know how to deal with critical and unusual cases of operating conditions and becomes familiar with the complete extinguishing of the station, Emergency Shut Down (ESD) and Process Shut Down, which is to turn off a specific part of the station for any purpose whatsoever, whether Maintenance or periodic inspection.
