Technical course, on October 06, 2022 at Libyan Petroleum Institute, was concluded on advanced process operation by using Distributed Control System (DCS) for 5 trainees from Operation Department and 1 from Training and Development Department for a period of 4 weeks.
The course conclusion was attended by the Training and Development Department Manager, Technical Training Section supervisor, and from Operations Department, Production Coordinator, Production Section supervisor and Submersible Pump Section supervisor.
The course of operation advanced station operation via (DCS) is a simulator of oil and gas production starts from operating stage of wells units to production lines and trying to overcome the technical issues that may occur during the flow of crude oil or gas to disconnectors and following up all the movement of oil and gas and examining and settling the whole technical and operating issues via such a simulator until reaching to the tank and ready to be exported.
