Workshop for NC 98 Project Upgrading

Today, Thursday, corresponding to June 8th, 2023, a technical workshop was held regarding the NC 98 Project Upgrading. A number of specialized departments managers at WOC and a number of representatives of NOC participated in the workshop: Messrs. Najmi Karim, Manager of Maintenance and Projects Department (Video Conference), and a number of specialists from the Reserve Development Department, in addition to representatives from the Office of Strategic Programs Department at NOC, and a number of second party representatives, ConocoPhillips, through Video Conference.

In which a team from the second party made a technical presentation in which it dealt with the results of the study conducted by Total Energy, to consider development options for injecting gas and water or exporting gas.

It should also be noted that the project to develop NC 98 is one of the major strategic projects of WOC and by implementing which we hope to raise the production of WOC by an average of 60 thousand barrels per day.
