Within Waha Oil Company plans and programs for implementation of the final stages to obtaining (IZO -14001/2015) certificate on Environmental Management System , a meeting was held on Sunday morning with the attendance of Mr. Steven Beer ,Member of Management Committee and a number of Departments’ Managers related to Environmental Management System. This Scrutiny aims to grant (ISO-14001/2015) certificate to Waha Oil Company. The program includes two days of examination to the Main Office of the company at Borj Bolaila ( 17-18/ December 2023) and two days for Gialo Field ( 19-21 /December 2023) .Noting ,that Environment Protection Section at HSE Department supervises this project. A permanent committee was formed with partnership of member from Operations, Drilling & Work Over Departments for follow up of the continuous improvement of the environmental performance at Waha Oil Company after obtaining the above said certificate.
